Women of Grace

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  —Romans 15:5-6

Grace Redeemer’s Women’s Ministry exists to help women live God-centered lives. We encourage one another to live Christ-like lives of grace and truth—marked by unity, mercy, love, prayer and ministry. Our vision is that each woman of GRC would daily and intimately experience Christ’s life-changing love so she reflects Christ’s light to a lost and dying world.

These events are easy ways to meet other women in GRC and forge friendships in the family of God. For more information on any of them, e-mail women@graceredeemer.com. Please RSVP at Grace Online or by e-mail.

Bible studies will resume January 21st and 22nd with a study on the book of Judges for the Spring quarter. We meet at GRC on Mondays 7:30– 9:00 pm and Tuesdays 9:30– 11:00 am. Childcare is available on Tuesdays for a small fee if you request it when you register.

THE BOOK OF JUDGES describes a time in the life of the nation of Israel between the prophetic leadership of Moses and Joshua and the establishment of the monarchy.  During that time, “everyone did what was right in his own eyes” (Judges 17:6).

The most shocking feature in the book of Judges, however, is not the horror of Israel’s sin, but the glory of salvation from that sin.  The darkness of Israel’s sin is overcome only by the wonder of God’s salvation worked through a series of memorable judges, who ultimately point us to Jesus Christ.
