GRC Kids

GRC Kids is our home for children from birth – 6th Grade on Sunday mornings. Our vision is to partner with parents in forming kingdom minded children committed to Christ who know and love God, see his love demonstrated at church and at home and are able to apply God’s Word to their lives.

Your First Visit

We are excited to welcome your children this Sunday! You’ll find lots of energy and children of all ages. Our safe environments are staffed with loving and screened volunteers. Our classes are creative and Gospel focused. Nursery children feel secure and loved.

When you arrive come visit our Children’s Ministry welcome and check-in table, located next to the nursery. At the welcome and check-in table, a staff member will help you register your children, explain all procedures, and lead you to the correct classroom. We also encourage you to pick up a copy of the Parent Handbook and Nursery Welcome Card to help you become familiar with our programs.

Nursery Care

At GRC, we desire to provide a secure and engaging environment for your child at each developmental stage. Nursery care—staffed with professional staff and volunteers—where children are nurtured, loved and can play with their peers is provided for throughout the scheduled worship services and Christian Education hour. Nursery care is separated into three rooms:

  •  Infants & Crawlers (Birth – 12 months)
  •  Walkers (12 – 24 months old)
  •  Puddle Jumpers (2 – 3 years)

Classes during the 8:30 and 11:15am Worship Times

Gospel-focused age appropriate instruction is provided for children ages 2-third grade, during the Worship Services at 8:30 & 11:15am. Nursery aged children (birth-3 years old) are welcome to come to the nursery at the beginning of the service. During the service, Pre-K through third grade children are welcomed to worship with the rest of the congregation. Right before the sermon portion of the service, Pre-school through third grade children are dismissed to classrooms for a Kid’s Club program where they will learn Bible stories, memorize Bible verses and learn Biblical truth in a fun and engaging environment.

Children who are in 4th-6th grade remain in the service and are invited to follow along with the sermon by using a Children’s Bulletin.
