One of the best ways to become part of the Grace Redeemer community is to serve in one of the various capacities and ministries inside or outside of our church.
As part of the Diaconate, you can minister to the needs of the church members and others in the community as Christ served the church and ministered to the needs of those around Him. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
The Children’s Ministry is always in need of teachers for our children’s curriculum during service times (Kid’s Club) and during the Sunday School hour as well as a team of parents who help care for our nursery children. Please contact our children’s ministry director, Karen Jacobsen, for more details.
Do you wonder how it appears each of our Sunday services run so smoothly, even with all the chaos of congregants coming and going? Come join our incredible team of ushers, attendants, greeters, audio-visual technicians, PowerPoint operators, and last—but not least—musicians. Sundays are led by our Operations Director Jaclyn Chang. Please contact her for more details and to volunteer to serve on one of her many teams.
Sundays can’t be mentioned without the robust and wonderful worship music, a mixed style of hymns and modern praise, prepared and performed by our musicians and led by Music Director Jon Werking. Please contact him for more details.
Family Promise of Bergen County
Members of the Grace Redeemer Church community volunteer each month to prepare and serve food during the walk-in dinner program at the Family Promise of Bergen County, a shelter in Hackensack, NJ that assists working families with children who are temporarily homeless. Their walk-in dinner program provides dinner for up to 150 people each night, 365 days of the year.
