Doors

Open and unlock Front Door, turn on lights (if applicable)

Engage lock so it doesn’t lock again

Open and unlock Side Door. When you unlock the side door, you can also turn the stairway light on (switch on the left side against the wall).

Open and unlock Office Doors (elevator and back door), disengage alarm, prop open doors, turn on lights

Open and prop open inner Office door

Open and unlock storage closet

Open and unlock Overflow Room Doors, prop open, turn on lights

Open and unlock back Classroom Door, prop open, turn on lights. NOTE: be sure the overflow room’s alarm has been disarmed before you do this- the alarm is connected to these doors.

Overflow Room

Turn on TV’s, using “Input” buttons, set right TV to “Sound Booth iMac”, set left TV to “Rear Sanctuary Camera” (if applicable- the TV’s may already be set to these inputs). Directions are posted on the TV’s themselves.

Turn Volume knobs on full (5 o’clock) under light switches

Stairway

If you didn’t turn on the stairway lights when unlocking the outside door, you can turn them on here.

Sanctuary

Enter Sanctuary near elevator, disengage alarm, prop open 1 door

Turn on 1 set of lights (closest to the door)

Unlock all sanctuary doors, prop open one door each of two-door pairs

Turn on Stage lights (on either side of the platform at stage level)

(Winter) Open Jon Werking’s office, turn on heat, prop door open

(Summer) Open Jon Werking’s office, turn on AC, prop door open

Enter Sound Booth, turn on lights, find small key under Sound Booth desk

Put key in Magic Button box (top of Sound Booth Desk, upper right corner)

Turn key from “Disabled” to “Enabled”, press black button above key, green light should come on.

TROUBLESHOOTING- if green light doesn’t come on, go to the sound closet at the right of the stage. Look at the Amp/Power rack. If there is a red light above “Extreme Voltage” (see picture below), you need to go to the Electrical room (outside the far west sanctuary door)

Enter the electrical room, there is a panel with a paper on it. Follow the instructions on the paper.

Reset the appropriate breakers (flip to the outside then back to the inside)

Try “Magic Button” again.

When green light comes on above the black “Magic Button”, turn key to “Disabled” again, remove key and put it back on the hook under the Sound Booth Desk.

Turn on LED stage lights

Press “Blackout” button so it is NOT lit, move slider above “Blackout” button all the way up (if applicable)

Turn on iMac, button is on lower left hand side (if screen is facing you), lower right hand side if the back of the computer is facing you

Roll the Podium out to the foyer opposite the Elevator

Roll the TV out to the foyer opposite the Elevator

Plug in the iPad and TV and turn them on (black button on the edge of the upper right corner of both the iPad and TV)

On Home Page of iPad, click “Photos” at bottom

Click the only displayed Photos

In upper right corner, click “Slideshow”

Click “Start Slideshow”

(You may need to do this a couple times before it displays on the TV.  Also make sure that the correct “Input” is displaying on the TV. You can do this by checking which Input the iPad is using (in the back of the TV).)

Adjust the Camera (if necessary)- if the picture (in the overflow room) of the Sanctuary is very “wide-angle”, the power went off and the Camera in the rear of the sanctuary needs to be adjusted.

Get out a ladder (in the Electrical room), and on the Camera’s screen, press “T” (Telephoto) to zero in on the platform.
