"The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

HOW DO I LEARN MORE ABOUT JESUS AND CHRISTIANITY
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE
HOW DO I GET CONNECTED TO GRACE REDEEMER CHURCH
HOW DO I FIND YOU

What are your services like?
At Grace Redeemer, we understand that your first time at a church is often a bit intimidating. You don’t know what to expect, you may not know anyone, and your greatest desire is to ‘scope out’ the church and get out the door before anyone accosts you! We want you to be able to experience the great music, relevant yet challenging messages, friendly people and dynamic atmosphere that are a part of Grace Redeemer Church. Here are some questions we think you might like answered, even before you try us out!

What should I wear?
We don’t believe that dress and spirituality are necessarily connected. Being a younger church, you’ll see more jeans than suits, but we encourage you to come as you are.

What’s available for my kids?
For every 10 adults in attendance, we have over 3 kids ranging from newborns to high school students. We’re committed to providing a safe and fun learning & caring environment for your children. You can rest assured that while you’re checking out this new church, your children are being nurtured by dedicated, qualified volunteers who are looking out for the physical, social and spiritual well-being of your child.

What kind of music do you sing?
We’d prefer that you come and experience our music! We intentionally don’t label our ‘style’ because our conviction is that the most important criteria for excellent music is that it honors the object of our singing: God Himself. We eagerly mine the historical traditions of centuries past while scanning new releases from talented artists at the leading edge of music today. In this sense, we are, as one author puts it, an “Ancient-Future” church in our pursuit of musical excellence. We sing old hymns to new arrangements accompanied by keyboard, bass, guitar and drums… or we’ll occasionally assemble a string quartet for a classical worship service… or we’ll raise the volume with quality songs you may hear over the airwaves. Our goal is not variety to please everyone; our goal is God-honoring excellence, musically and lyrically. Come and hear for yourself!

Are you connected to any other churches?
Grace Redeemer Church was planted several years ago by Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. Redeemer Hoboken is our ‘twin’ since it was planted at the same time. In 2001, we helped to plant Redeemer Church of Montclair by sending significant resources (including many people!) from our young church to that new effort. We all belong to a geographic grouping of churches in the NY Metro area which are a part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). You can learn more about the PCA by checking out this website: www.pcanet.org
