Refuge 686 Suitcase/Duffle Bag Drive

Foster children in Bergen County need new or gently used suitcases or duffle bags; wheels make it easy for kids to carry.  If you have one to spare, please bring it to church and drop it off at the nursery check-in desk.  Or consider shipping a new bag directly to Division of Child Protection & Permanency/Attn: Ms. Y. Nivar, 125 State Street, 2nd Floor, Hackensack, NJ 07601.  Together, we can make sure that no foster child in Bergen County has to move his/her belongings in a trash bag.  Jan 21st is the deadline to receive all bags.

Email Karen with questions.

Celebrate Recovery

Join us for our Celebrate Recovery meetings every Wednesday as follows:

7:00pm - 7:30pm     Dinner
7:30pm - 8:15pm      Large Group Worship & Teaching
8:15pm -  9:00pm     Open Share Small Groups

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is in 25,000 churches worldwide (most in the U.S.).  Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with the courage to be honest about life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups and willing to open their life to healing and change. Participants open the door by sharing their experiences and hopes with one another. In addition, they become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems. This ministry is being supported by Grace Redeemer but is available to all people, whether or not they attend our church.

WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry based on the Beatitudes. The purpose of CR is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 steps and 8 recovery principles. By applying these principles we experience freedom from our hurts, habits, and hang-ups creating peace, serenity, joy and a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to share struggles and a place where we can take off our masks. A place where you hear the words: “Nobody walks alone.” Celebrate Recovery changes lives!

Healing Service

This service is focused on intercessory prayer for those who desire to be anointed with oil by the elders, and prayed for by our church. We hope it will allow the church body to become more aware of the struggles that exist within GRC so that we can extend mercy to our brothers and sisters through prayer and support. Please join us even if you prefer not to make your needs publicly known.
