Attention cyber-athletes, shake off that chronic thumb-sprain and turn on Fall fun with GRC men and friends. You are invited to join the 2017 GRC Fantasy Football League; no entry fee. A live draft will take place on the August 27th in Meeting Rooms A & B. We’ll huddle up for pizza dinner at 6:00 pm, followed by the draft at 7:00 pm sharp. Interested teens and men, who are unable to join us, may draft online. However, all who are interested, must RSVP in advance to League Commissioner, Bryan O’Malley.
Grace Redeemer Church will hold its congregational meeting in the sanctuary. Business to be conducted will include the following: (1) dissolve the pastoral relationship between Associate Pastor Joshua Desch and GRC and (2) developments on 21 Harristown and other related areas of ministry. Should we require a further adjournment of the congregational meeting beyond 9/3, we’ll assemble at the same time and place on the following Sunday, Sept. 10th.
All are invited to join us for the annual church picnic at Van Suan Park (Paramus). It’ll be a time for good eat’n and fellowship. GRC will provide the protein and you need only sign up to bring either a side dish, dessert, or drinks. More information to follow, but we need a group of volunteers to plan children’s game, shop for food, and organize volunteers. Contact Jennifer Mercer if you’d like to be a part of this team.

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is in 25,000 churches worldwide (most in the U.S.). Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with the courage to be honest about life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups and willing to open their life to healing and change. Participants open the door by sharing their experiences and hopes with one another. In addition, they become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems. This ministry is being supported by Grace Redeemer but is available to all people, whether or not they attend our church.
WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry based on the Beatitudes. The purpose of CR is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 steps and 8 recovery principles. By applying these principles we experience freedom from our hurts, habits, and hang-ups creating peace, serenity, joy and a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to share struggles and a place where we can take off our masks. A place where you hear the words: “Nobody walks alone.” Celebrate Recovery changes lives!

is class is held twice a year and is an in-depth presentation of GRC’s vision, values, ministries, and structure. It’s a prerequisite for church membership, but it’s also generally beneficial to newer attendees. We schedule it in a one-day format in order to minimize impact on very busy schedules. Registration at Grace Online (Forms) or at the Welcome Desk. If you have any questions, please contact Teresa (email@example.com).
This service is focused on intercessory prayer for those who desire to be anointed with oil by the elders, and prayed for by our church. We hope it will allow the church body to become more aware of the struggles that exist within GRC so that we can extend mercy to our brothers and sisters through prayer and support. Please join us even if you prefer not to make your needs publicly known.

There are many families in the area who are struggling to make ends meet. Because God loves us so, He gave us the most precious gift of Jesus. We can share His love by helping these families. Through our partnership with Center for Food Action and Lighthouse Pregnancy, we are sponsoring several families this Christmas.
Many hands are needed to make this a welcoming event: coordinating gifts, preparing/serving meals, leading worship, etc. Click here to sign up today!
