Celebrate Recovery (CR) is in 25,000 churches worldwide (most in the U.S.).  Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with the courage to be honest about life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups and willing to open their life to healing and change. Participants open the door by sharing their experiences and hopes with one another. In addition, they become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems. This ministry is being supported by Grace Redeemer but is available to all people, whether or not they attend our church.

WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry based on the Beatitudes. The purpose of CR is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 steps and 8 recovery principles. By applying these principles we experience freedom from our hurts, habits, and hang-ups creating peace, serenity, joy and a stronger personal relationship with God and others. Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to share struggles and a place where we can take off our masks. A place where you hear the words: “Nobody walks alone.” Celebrate Recovery changes lives!

Healing Service

This service is focused on intercessory prayer for those who desire to be anointed with oil by the elders, and prayed for by our church. We hope it will allow the church body to become more aware of the struggles that exist within GRC so that we can extend mercy to our brothers and sisters through prayer and support. Please join us even if you prefer not to make your needs publicly known.

Sponsor A Family

There are many families in the area who are struggling to make ends meet.  Because God loves us so, He gave us the most precious gift of Jesus. We can share His love by helping these families. Through our partnership with Center for Food Action and Lighthouse Pregnancy, we are sponsoring several families this Christmas.

The SAF Gift Tree will be up from Nov. 5 - 19.  Please stop by and sign out a gift tag and return a wrapped gift by Nov. 26th.  Many hands are also needed to make this a welcoming event: coordinating gifts, preparing/serving meals, leading worship, etc. If you'd like to help, please email the SAF team.

New City Kids: Paterson - "The Red Guitar" Show

As many of you know, our church is a proud partner of New City Kids: Paterson. New City Kids  is a powerful ministry which breaks the cycle of generational poverty for at-risk youth and sets them on a trajectory of life change. Youth are taught music, trusted with responsibility, empowered with leadership, and discipled and mentored by invested adults who walk alongside them from first grade through high school and onto college.

New City Kids: Paterson has invited us to share a night of wonder and joy as their youth tell the transformative story of New City Kids. We support the work and ministry of New City Kids and encourage you to accept the invitation to experience the legacy of The Red Guitar.

Feeling pressured to do everything "right" and raise up "good" children, it's easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents in the quest for practical tips and guaranteed formulas.  Join us for this encouraging and equipping simulcast by Christian pastor and parenting leader Paul Tripp. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided and children’s program for nursery to 5th grade children will be offered with advance registration until capacity is reached.   The cost to attend is $10 per adult and $5 per child for childcare.

See trailer of the simulcast and register soon!
